SolGuruz built FractionAcre - a fractional real estate investment app - for a PropTech startup, delivering the complete platform in 6-8 weeks. The platform covers a mobile investor app (iOS and Android), a property manager app, an admin dashboard, SPV-based ownership structures, a built-in secondary marketplace, and cross-border payment integration. Fractional real estate is gaining rapid traction globally, but most users still struggle to understand what fractional real estate really is, whether it’s a good investment, and how to confidently navigate fractional interest in real estate opportunities.
FractionAcre allows investors to purchase fractional real estate ownership for sale via SPV-based equity structures, earn rental income every month or quarter, and trade their holdings through an intuitive secondary marketplace. Every interaction, from property discovery to investor-manager conversations, was crafted to feel simple, transparent, and trustworthy.
The Problem
During SolGuruz research into existing fractional real estate investing platforms and real estate crowdfunding solutions, a few consistent issues stood out:
High minimum investment requirements
Most platforms still expect sizable commitments, which immediately shuts out everyday retail investors who want to start small.
Liquidity challenges
Real estate is still difficult to exit. Selling a stake isn't always simple, and buyers aren't guaranteed when an investor wants to cash out.
Limited transparency
