Most journaling apps give you a blank page and wish you luck. Robert Mond, Principal at The Master Storytellers LLC, based in New Mexico, USA, knew there was a better way and brought that idea to SolGuruz. The brief was clear: build an AI-powered journaling companion that helps users actually write, track habits, and build a reflection practice they stick with. In just 3.5 months, Dream Story was live on iOS, Android, and Web. SolGuruz handled the complete product journey - strategy, UI/UX design, AI integration, cross-platform development, and go-to-market launch - delivering a product that went from concept to App Store without a single missed milestone.
The Problem
The major issue was the lack of "intelligent assistance". Robert tried the journaling apps available in the market and realized they all leave users with a blank page - which makes daily self-notes a challenge for most people. There are also many users who want to track their daily goals systematically but struggle to write them down, and an AI-assisted journaling app could be the answer.
The Goal
The goal was to build an AI companion for users who want to capture daily notes and reflections in their own format - and to make journaling a consistent habit they can track over time. We added voice-to-text so users don’t need to type out every thought; the AI does the heavy lifting from a few spoken lines.
