About the Cannabis Delivery App Development

Cannabis or marijuana delivery application is designed to help users to buy or order prescribed marijuana directly from the app. It facilitates the user to save time and effort by offering the comfort of buying the prescribed drugs online. The app has gained popularity in the regions where selling or buying prescribed cannabis is legal. It can be either bought for medical or recreational purposes.

Problem & Client Requirements

Our client approached us for building a seamless delivery application for selling cannabis marijuana online. The client wanted to set up the delivery app in the region where selling the drugs is legal for users with medical prescriptions.

One of the biggest challenges that we faced while developing the Cannabis delivery app was learning about legal and regulatory compliance. Another factor was age verification and payment processing. We had to set up the application interface with extreme care that only allows verified users to order marijuana online.

Encrypted the data both in transit and at rest by using methods like full disk encryption and Encrypted web connection(HTTP protocol with SSL certificate.

oAuth 2.0

oAUTH2.0 helps prevent maliious attacks orchestrated by unauthorized users and makes sure that system is accessed by only authorized and authenticated users.

AWS Firewall

Configured Firewalls on AWS instances and databases to allow limited access.

Source code obfuscation

Implemented Source code obfuscation practices to make the source-code in unreadable format, and so it would be difficult to temper or reverse engineer the released app’s executable file.

Automated Backup and Rollback

Configured cloud instances to take backup at regular intervals and so a particular version can be rolled back when required automatically.
