How MI Football Social is Revolutionizing the Way Fans Experience Matchdays
Our client envisioned a platform that could turn football watching into a shared experience again — no more lonely match nights or endless online threads. They approached SolGuruz to transform this idea into a seamless digital ecosystem where fans can discover pubs showing live matches, join supporter groups, RSVP to games, and chat with fellow supporters — all from one app.
The Problem
Watching football had become an isolated experience. Fans struggled to find where matches were screening or which pubs were hosting events. Pub owners, on the other hand, lacked a direct channel to reach local football fans. There was no centralized platform that could bring both sides together for a truly social matchday experience.
The Goal
To build a social hub for football lovers and venue owners. The goal was simple yet ambitious — create an all-in-one app where fans could find pubs screening their favorite matches, RSVP, check-in, and interact with other fans. For pubs, the app would serve as a digital marketing and engagement tool, helping them grow their community and increase footfall on game days.

Building MI Football Social meant combining real-time data, location services, and role-based logic into one unified app. Our development team created a robust backend powered by AWS and integrated API-Football for live match syncing. Data Encryption
Encrypted the data both in transit and at rest by using methods like full disk encryption and Encrypted web connection(HTTP protocol with SSL certificate.
oAuth 2.0
oAUTH2.0 helps prevent maliious attacks orchestrated by unauthorized users and makes sure that system is accessed by only authorized and authenticated users.
AWS Firewall
Configured Firewalls on AWS instances and databases to allow limited access.
Source code obfuscation
Implemented Source code obfuscation practices to make the source-code in unreadable format, and so it would be difficult to temper or reverse engineer the released app’s executable file.
Automated Backup and Rollback
Configured cloud instances to take backup at regular intervals and so a particular version can be rolled back when required automatically.
